Broad meadows

The freedom that the Millennial Reign promises is one where people don’t have to be afraid of other’s intentions, that they can lay down safely. And given the scale of injustice that I have observed over the course of a lifetime, mostly from those who are in power specifically to enforce justice, many things that people have normalized in this age will no longer be allowed. The misuse of medicine that takes place for profit will not be tolerated. No longer will slaughtering innocents en utero be allowed. As it says in Isaiah 65:20,

“Never again will there be in it
an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not live out his years;
the one who dies at a hundred
will be thought a mere child;
the one who fails to reach a hundred
will be considered accursed.”

But if you are alive at the time of this writing, you know this would not be pleasing to some. When the Lord does return and begin to reign, there will be much to judge. Here are a few of the verses that point to this reality,

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6.

“The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41.

“The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.” Revelation 14:19-20

“But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’” Luke 19:27

And all of this after the earth’s population was cut in half during the times of the seals and trumpets. False worldviews will no longer be something humanity has to deal with because the truth is right before them. Because the weeds have been pulled, there is little need for the over governance of this age. Justice will executed quickly.

But an underground apostasy begins to develop. The role that the goat plays in Gods plan will be fully developed under the teachings of Christ during this time, but what it leads to is a worshiping of the the sun/goat character that I described in the sun/goat series describing what his role encompasses. We get a hint of this in Ezekiel 8:16,

“He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the LORD, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east.” And continues in verse , “Look at them putting the branch to their nose!” The “branch”, Jesus, is so close that they can touch him, but choose to worship an angel!

This warning is also echoed three times in the book of Revelation when the Apostle John fell to worship the angel and was commanded not to. When the Old Testament speaks of people worshipping the sun, moon and stars, this what is being prophesied. And this is what sets up the deception at the end of the Millennial Reign. The antichrist will not assume the role of messiah, but as the goat coming to end Christ’s’ “reign of tyranny.” It is of course a lie, but those who are in this underground apostasy will rally to his cause, leading to the real sun/goat character to once more unleash Gods wrath on the entire physical universe. Then God makes everything new.
