Broad meadows

There was a certain man who was looking for some land on which he could settle. He looked at many different places until one day he found a beautiful piece of land with fruit trees and streams. The fruit was very good and as he was inspecting the land, he came across some gems of immense value just lying on the ground. He thought to himself, “If there are gems of this kind of value just on the surface, what must lie underneath?.” The ground was hard, though, almost impenetrable. He purchased the land and tried to dig beneath the surface, but to little avail. One night, inspired by a dream, he fashioned a tool that allowed him to get below the surface and these are some of the things he found. . .
